Summer 2025 Housing

Eligibility 

Summer housing is available to returning 헤라카지노 주소 undergraduate students who are:

  • Registered as an undergraduate or graduate/professional student at the University for the Summer 2025 semester or
  • Registered for the Fall 2025 semester and registered for on campus housing for the 2025-2026 academic year

Location 

Students will be housed in Centennial Hall and The Frequency Apartments for the summer of 2025.

All rooms are fully furnished. Additional information about each hall, including our virtual tours, can be found on each hall's webpage.

Summer Housing Dates 

Summer housing will start on Tuesday, May 13th and will conclude on Saturday, August 9th. Please note residents that remain in summer housing through the final day, and will be living on campus for the Fall 2025 semester, will be permitted to transition to their fall assignment on Sunday, August 10th. The last day to move in is Monday, July 21st.

Summer Housing Rates 2025

Summer housing is billed to the student's Eagle Service account. A daily rate, with a minimum stay of 21 days (3 weeks), is used for summer housing.

All available rooms in Centennial Hall are designed for double occupancy. This summer we will have spaces for both single and double occupancy in The Frequency Apartments. 

Below is the daily rate for each summer room type for 2025. To determine your cost for summer housing, please take the number of days you requested (a minimum of 21 days) and multiply that by the daily rate for the room type you selected.

Applying for Summer Housing

The summer housing application will open to undergraduate students on April 3, 2025. Details about the application will be shared with students via their 헤라카지노 주소 e-mail during the Spring 2025 semester. 

  • Apply by Sunday, April 13th, and you will receive your assignment on Friday, April 18th.
  • If you apply after Sunday, April 13th, we will make assignments each Monday on a rolling basis.

To apply, log into your and select "Summer Student 2025" within the Housing Application. There is no deadline to apply, but students should apply at least 10 헤라카지노 보증 days prior to their requested move-in date. 

The application will allow you to select a preference of hall (Centennial or Frequency) and dates of occupancy. A minimum of 21 days (3 weeks) is required when requesting summer housing.

Canceling Summer Housing

To cancel, please cancel your application in the 헤라카지노 주소 Housing Portal, or e-mail housing@american.edu and state the reason you wish to cancel. Title the e-mail 'Summer Housing Cancellation.'

Any student who applies for and receives a housing assignment for the Summer Term and subsequently cancels the housing assignment will be responsible for the following cancellation fees: 

  • A student who has not moved in and who cancels the housing assignment more than 48 hours before their scheduled move-in day will not receive a cancellation fee. 
  • A student who has not moved in and who cancels the housing assignment less than 48 hours before their scheduled move-in day will be charged for seven days in their assigned room as a cancellation fee. 
  • A student who moves in and then cancels the housing assignment will be charged for the full duration of their assignment.

When & how do I check in?

  • Living on-campus for the spring: You will remain in your spring housing assignment until Tuesday, May 13. You will then move into your summer housing assigment on Tuesday, May 13 between 10am-4pm. Follow these two steps to complete your spring to summer transition:
    • First, complete an Express Self Check-Out in the 헤라카지노 주소 Housing Portal as you depart your spring housing assignement.
    • Second, arrive at the check-in location (see locations below) for your summer housing assignment to complete check-in.
  • Living off-campus for the spring: Summer housing opens on Tuesday, May 13 at 3pm. Students can request to move in on or after this date. When you're ready to move-in, arrive at the check-in location (see locations below) for your summer housing assignment to complete check-in.

  • Steps to Check-Out:
    • First, remove all items personal belongings from the room, dispose of all unwanted items in approriate locations, clean your space and return all furniture to it's location at move-in.

Moving Out on August 9th or 10th:

  • Living on-campus for the fall: You will remain in your summer housing assignment until Sunday, August 10 and you will move into your fall housing assigment on this day. HRL will share further details in advance.
  • Living off-campus for the fall: Students residing off-campus for the fall semester must move out of summer housing by Saturday, August 9 at noon. HRL will share further details in advance.

If you have a spring housing assignment, unfortunately we are unable to allow you to remain in your academic year room. 

Summer policies are the same as the academic year. Please review the Summer Housing and License Agreement linked on this page and Student Conduct Code.

All summer 2025 housing assignments in Centennial Hall and Frequency Apartments will be in double occupancy rooms. Summer residents should expect a roommate.

We anticipate being able to house all applicants who meet the academic and date requirements for summer housing:

  • Eligibility: If you meet the eligibility based on summer enrollment or fall enrollment and an on-campus housing assignment.
  • Date: A minimum of 21 days (3 weeks) is required when requesting summer housing.

Mail and packages will be handled differently based on the hall where each student resides. Please visit the Mail and Packages webpage for specific instructions for Centennial Hall residents.

  • Summer Centennial Residents - Mail Services will start receiving packages for summer residents on Tuesday, May 13. (To be confirmed).
  • Summer Frequency Residents - 헤라카지노 주소 Mail Services does not manage Frequency mail. All mail and packages are delivered directly to the Frequency. Summer residents should ensure their mail and packages arrive on or after the date they are scheduled to move in.
