Ghufran A. Alqahtani

SJD Program Graduate 

Dr. Ghufran A. Alqahtani successfully completed her S.J.D. degree at 헤라카지노 Washington College of Law. Her dissertation titled, "Violence Against Women in the Name of Honor: the Case of Jordan." She extensively explored the concept of legal pluralism and it affects on gender-based violence against women.  Dr. Alqahtani analyzed the practice of honor killing through different theories such as feminist legal theory and sociolegal feminist theory.
